If your plans change at the last minute, we'll try to give you all the flexibility you need. If you're not able to fly and want to cancel your booking, we'll explain what options you have based on your booking.
As a general rule, if you booked a flight with the Fly or Fly Light bundles, or Basic, Optima or Family fares, the ticket is non-refundable, so you won't be able to cancel it. You can only cancel it during the grace period, that is, up to 2 hours after making the booking. However, remember that if you don't fly in the end, you'll still be able to claim back airport taxes.
In which cases can I cancel a flight?
You can cancel it up to 48 hours before the flight and recover the amount paid in the form of Flight Credit in the following cases:
- If you booked the Fly Grande bundle,* you can cancel it in the My trips section.
- If you purchased the Flex Pack service during the booking process (via our website or app), you can also cancel in the My trips section.
- If you're unable to fly for a justified reason (illness, preventive isolation, pregnancy, death, court summons or polling station duty). You can request it by calling our Customer Services Centre.
- If you took out trip cancellation insurance. Here’s how to do it.
How is the amount refunded?
Once you've cancelled, you'll get your money back in the form of Flight Credit to use yourself or for someone else the next time you book. You can check its validity by following the instructions or in the emails that we send periodically with your credit balance.
Remember: the details you need to use your Flight Credit are the email address that you used when you booked and the code of your cancelled booking (e.g. VYABCD).
Remember...
- The cancellation option will only be available if your booking includes free cancellation.
- You can't cancel a booking for individual passengers. A cancellation affects all the passengers in the booking.
