Claim your insurance with Vueling
If you have taken out insurance with us through XCover, we'll show you how to process your claim.
If you took out Travel Protection...
- If you need emergency medical assistance or other medical cover during your trip, contact the insurer to report what happened. You can find the emergency telephone number in your policy conditions. This phone line is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (available in several different languages).
- To request a refund for any expense, you should visit the XCover website. Remember that you must present the original invoices or supporting documents containing the dates of the trip, the amount you paid and the name of the person or persons travelling.
- If you need to cut your trip short, you will need to attach the booking invoice containing the travel dates and any fees paid to make the change(s).
If you took out Trip Cancellation Protection...
- On the XCover website, you can request reimbursement from the insurer for any cancellation expenses incurred by following a few simple steps.
- If you need to submit a cancellation invoice and you do not have one, Vueling may provide you with a letter confirming that you did not use the booking and if any type of refund or voucher was issued.
If you took out Luggage and belongings Protection...
- Visit the XCover website, where you can file a claim by following a few simple steps.
- To request a refund for any damage or theft of your luggage, you can do so through the XCover website. Remember that you will need to provide documentation and other evidence to support your claim.
- If you need to file a claim for electronic devices and other personal belongings that were stolen or damaged during your trip, you can also do this through the XCover website by providing the requested documentation.
Remember:
- If you need to change the name of one of the passengers on the booking and you have taken out travel insurance with XCover, as well as making the change with Vueling, you will need to go to the XCover website and update the name on the policy.
