You are allowed to carry one funerary urn, either in your hand luggage or in checked luggage.
The passenger must carry a copy of the documentation provided by the funeral home along with a copy of the death certificate. Such documentation may be required at the departure airport. For international flights, we recommend contacting the Consulate of the destination country to find out the requirements of the local authorities.
The urn must be hermetically sealed, and packed in such a way that it cannot be identified as a funerary urn. It must also meet international and state requirements for proper carriage.
It is the passenger's responsibility to comply with these conditions.
