Sal International Airport, also known as Amílcar Cabral Airport, is the main airport in Cape Verde. It is located around 2 km from Espargos, the capital of Sal Island. Vueling operates from Terminal 1 of this airport.
How can you get to and from the airport?
- By taxi: the most common, direct and quickest option. Taxis operate across the island and will drop you off directly at the departures entrance.
- By private transfer: a convenient alternative if you are travelling in a group or with a lot of luggage.
- By rental car: if you choose this option, you can return the vehicle at the rental offices located within the airport grounds.
