Queen Alia International Airport, the largest in Jordan, is 35 km north of the capital city, Amman. It's visited by an average of 12 million passengers every year.
How can you get around from the airport?
- By taxi: There's a taxi rank outside the airport. Prices vary according to the distance to the hotel. The journey to the city centre takes about 45 minutes. You can also get to the city of Petra directly by taxi.
- By bus: The main service from the airport is the Sariya Shuttle Bus, which goes from the terminal to Amman every 30 minutes. It takes 45 minutes and costs about €4 per person.
