Damaged bag

If your luggage is damaged and you are at the airport, here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Before leaving the luggage claim area, go to Vueling's Lost and Found Office.
2. An agent will verify the damage to your luggage and, if applicable, will issue and give you a Property Irregularity Report (PIR), where you will find the reference number for the incident so you can track it.

It is very important that you get the PIR before leaving the luggage claim area. Once you leave, you won't be able to make a claim for damaged luggage.

Please note that certain damages are not covered, as it is not possible to verify the condition of the luggage before check-in, or they may result from normal handling at the airport. For more information, please see the conditions of carriage.

What are the next steps to take once the PIR has been issued?

You can request the replacement of your damaged bag. To do this, please fill in the form below.

> Replace bag

* If the item that has been damaged is a wheelchair or another type of special luggage (such as sports equipment, musical instruments, etc), please contact us.

* Remember that you have up to 7 calendar days from the receipt of the luggage and the opening of the PIR to claim damages to the luggage.
