At Vueling, we are committed to accessibility and inclusivity. That’s why we offer the Hearlo app. Hearlo is a free app that facilitates communication between our staff and people with hearing impairments, language barriers, or speech disorders.
How does Hearlo Vueling work?
Hearlo helps to improve the flow of communication, without the need for interpreters. It also creates a more accessible and autonomous airport experience. To do so, it offers the following options:
- Messaging feature: Based on written messages, it generates audio that can also be translated into the language you need. The app includes up to 40 languages.
- Hearlo Cards: It generates an audio message from a series of pictograms linked to the activities that take place at the airport: check-in, boarding, etc.
- Shortcuts: It generates an audio message from a series of phrases linked to activities that take place at the airport: check-in, boarding, etc.
- Phrases: It enables you to build complex sentences and generate audio from them. It combines text and pictograms.
- Tours: It describes all the steps to follow from when you arrive the airport, including check-in, going through security and boarding, as well as the flight and getting off the plane.
The app can be used easily at any time during your trip, both at the airport and on board the plane, and without an internet connection. But remember to download it first!
