Venice Airport, also known as Marco Polo, is located some 12 km from the city.
How can you get around from the airport?
- By taxi: There's a taxi rank opposite the Arrivals area. The journey to central Venice takes 27 minutes. From the airport, you can also take a water taxi to the city. The journey takes 20 minutes.

By bus: A bus service links the airport to Venice and Piazzale Roma, as well as other destinations outside the city, such as Padua, Pordenone/Aviano, the coast and mountain regions.
Another line links the airport to the city of Venice, Santa Lucia train station and Mestre-Venice train station.
