Gran Canaria Airport is located in the Bay of Gando, 18 km from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the island's capital, and 25 km from the south of the island where the main tourist areas are located.
How can you get around from the airport?
- By taxi: There's a taxi rank outside the terminal. The journey to the island's capital takes 25 minutes.
- By bus: A regular bus service links the airport to the capital and to the south of the island. There are three bus lines (Lines 5, 60 and 66), which make numerous stops between the airport, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Faro de Maspalomas.
