Berlin Brandenburg Airport

Brandenburg Airport is situated in the state of Brandenburg, southeast of Berlin, about a 40-minute drive from Berlin city centre. The airport has three terminals: T1, T2 and T5. Vueling operates from T2.

Getting to and from the airport
  • By train: The airport has two train stations. Flughafen BER Terminal 1-2 has intercity trains that connect the airport to the city of Berlin and several other towns. From the other station, Flughafen BER Terminal 5, you can travel to the centre and south of Berlin on the S-Bahn 9 and S-Bahn 45, respectively. If you want to go to Potsdam, you can take the RB22 regional train, which connects Flughafen BER Terminal 1-2 station to the capital of the state of Brandenburg, taking 56 minutes.
  • By bus/metro: All the terminals have their own bus stations to travel to Berlin. The X7 bus line takes you to the city and stops at Rudow metro station, from where you can get to the south of Berlin. The airport also offers a free shuttle bus service between terminals 1-2 and Tegel Airport (TXL).
  • By taxi: There is a taxi rank at the airport and you can get to Berlin city centre by taxi in about 45 minutes.
