Connecting flights
Since we want to offer you the best and widest range of destinations and flight frequency, you'll have the option to book connecting flights operated by Vueling and by partner airlines.
Connecting airports
Connecting flights booked through Vueling allow connections via Barcelona, Rome and Paris (ORY) airports.
Baggage
You can travel with the peace of mind of knowing you won't have to collect your baggage at the stop-over airport, since you check it in at your departure airport and only pick it up again at your final destination.
Seats
You can choose a seat for connecting flights operated by Vueling when making the booking or when checking in online, or you'll be allocated one at the airport check-in desk on the day of the flight.
If one of the connecting flights is operated by another airline, you'll be allocated a seat at the check-in desk on the day of the flight.
Check-in and boarding passes
At your departure airport, you must go to the check-in desk of the company operating the first leg. There you'll be given your boarding pass for the first and second leg. If you are not given the boarding pass for the second flight, you can collect it from the connecting airport's transit office.
Connection times
The stop-over time will depend on the flights you select when making the booking. the minimum stop-over time between our flights is 55 minutes, so you'll have time to get to your second flight.
Leaving the airport during stopover
You can leave the airport during stopover providing you are carrying the documentation you need to leave and then re-enter the airport. It is the passenger's responsibility to have all documents in order and return to the airport in sufficient time to catch the next flight.
Connecting flights operated by two partner airlines
In the case of connecting flights where each leg is operated by a different airline, for both legs the most restrictive policy of the two airlines as regards baggage allowance and fare benefits shall apply.
Incidents on connecting flights
If you have missed a connecting flight due to a delay or cancellation, please note:

Assistance at the airport
If appropriate, our ground staff will offer you, free of charge:
- Tickets for meals and beverages according to the length of the delay.
- 2 telephone calls, faxes or e-mails.
- If you have to wait overnight: accommodation, meals and transport between the airport and your accommodation.
Transit offices
The Vueling transit office at Barcelona airport is opposite boarding gate A21. There you can get the boarding pass for your second leg, if you do not already have it, or get help if you miss your connecting flight.
